RACE 6- VALE GRAEME O’BREE PACE (2190 MS)

Luke Watson, trainer of Vicstar Sharazzz advised that subsequent to the event the gelding to have recovered satisfactorily. Mr Watson advised he attributed the performance to the gelding being driven more forward during the middle stages of the event as the gelding may be driven more conservatively going forward. Mr Watson advised Vicstar Sharazzz is engaged at Mildura 9th October 2020.

RACE 7- ALABAR VICBRED PLATINUM HOME GROWN CLASSIC (2YO COLTS & GELDINGS) (2ND HEAT) (1710 MS)

Emma Stewart stable representative for Clayton Tonkin trainer of Major Moth, which was found to displaying the thumps subsequent to the event. Ms Stewart advised the colt to have recovered well showing no side effects and has worked satisfactorily since. Ms Stewart advised Major Moth is engaged at Tabcorp Park Melton on 10th October 2020.

RACE 1 – DNR LOGISTICS PACE (2240 MS)  

Geoff Clout, trainer of Malibu Jack, advised that subsequent to the event the gelding to have recovered satisfactorily. Mr Clout advised he attributed the performance to the gelding being up in grade to recent starts and the fast sectional times recorded. Mr Clout advised Malibu Jack is engaged at Geelong 9th October 2020.

RACE 6 – TAB SMOKEN UP SPRINT (GROUP 2) (1720 MS)

Emma Stewart stable representative for Clayton Tonkin trainer of Ride High, advised that subsequent to the event the entire underwent a full veterinarian examination which scans revealed a small lesion on the near fore suspensory ligament. Ride High will now undergo rehabilitation for the next six weeks which after further scans will be carried out.

Craig Cross, trainer of Cruz NZ, advised that subsequent to the event the gelding has recovered satisfactorily.  Mr Cross attributed the performance to the gelding maintaining the lead and may have been better suited driven with a cover. Mr Cross advised Cruz NZ is engaged at Tabcorp Park Melton on 10th October 2020.

Margaret Lee, trainer of Code Bailey NZ which was scratched advised that the gelding had a slight lung infection which has been treated accordingly and Code Bailey NZ has work satisfactorily since. Mrs Lee added blood tests from the entire taken on Tuesday are still awaiting analysis from the Melbourne racing laboratory. Mrs Lee advised she would notify stewards once results have been provided to her.  Code Bailey NZ is engaged at Tabcorp Park Melton on 10th October 2020. * Updated 9 October 2020 - Mrs Lee subsequently notified that the results of the blood tests conducted upon Code Bailey NZ earlier this week have revealed no identifiable abnormalities.

RACE 7 – ALDEBARAN PARK CHRIS HOWE TROTTERS FREE FOR ALL (GROUP 3) (2240 MS)

Kylie Sugars, trainer of Sammy Showdown, advised that subsequent to the event the gelding failed to recover as expected and blood tests revealed Sammy Showdown to have a liver infection. Ms Sugars advised the gelding would now be treated accordingly before continuing with the current preparation.

RACE 10 – IRT AUSTRALIA TROT (2240 MS)

Brent Lilley, trainer of Kyvalley Clichy, advised that subsequent to the event blood tests revealed Kyvalley Clichy to have a high white cell count. Mr Lilley advised the entire would now be treated accordingly before continuing with the current preparation.
