RACE 1- TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE (1690 MS)  

Justin Brewin, trainer of The Tooth Fairy advised that subsequent to the event blood tests revealed the mare to have a bacterial infection, Mr Brewin advised the mare would now be treated accordingly before continuing with the current preparation.

RACE 5- HAPPY BIRTHDAY GORDON CADDIE PACE (2180 MS) 

Justin Brewin, trainer of Adam Crocker advised that subsequent to the event the blood tests revealed the gelding to have a low-grade virus, Mr Brewin advised the gelding would now be treated accordingly before continuing with the current preparation.  

RACE 6- C&M BUILD GROUP TROTTERS HANDICAP (2150 SS) 

Wes Shellie, trainer of Sultan Sass which was declared a late scratching at the barrier after rearing and falling to the track. Mr Shellie advised that subsequent to the event the filly to have recovered well showing no side effects from the incident and has worked satisfactorily since. Mr Shellie advised Sultan Sass is engaged at Tabcorp Park Melton on 17th October 2020.

Mildura– 9 October 2020

RACE 6- PARK DOUGLAS PRINTING PACE (1790 MS)  

Scott Garraway trainer of Penny Snatcher, which was found to be lame after the event advised the mare underwent X-Rays which revealed Penny Snatcher to have sustained a severe fracture in the off fore pastern bone due to the extent of the injury acting on veterinarian advise Penny Snatcher was euthanised.

RACE 5 – ALDEBARAN PARK BILL COLLINS TROTTERS SPRINT (GROUP 1) (1720 MS)

Andy Gath, trainer of Mclovin NZ, advised that subsequent to the event the gelding to have recovered well and worked satisfactorily since. Mr Gath advised the gelding in the past has not performed up to expectations when driven by persons other than its regular driver which may have contributed to the gelding’s overall performance.

Andy Gath, trainer of Tornado Valley NZ, advised that subsequent to the event the gelding was examined by the stable veterinarian which failed to reveal any abnormalities. Mr Gath advised Tornado Valley NZ will now be given a short spell.

RACE 6 – TAB POPULAR ALM FREE FOR ALL (GROUP 3) (2240 MS)  

David Aiken, trainer of Sirletic, advised that subsequent to the event the gelding to have recovered satisfactorily since. Mr Aiken attributed the performance to the consistence pressure applied throughout the event. Mr Aiken added in future Sirletic may be driven more conservatively under similar circumstances.
