Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards have issued one charge against licensed trainer Raharna McDonald under Australian Harness Racing Rule (AHRR) 190(1).
AHRR 190(1) states:
A horse shall be presented for a race free of prohibited substances.
It is alleged that Ms McDonald presented the horse ‘Denzil Debro’ to race at the Mildura harness racing meeting on 21 March 2023, not free of the prohibited substances of 3-Hydroxlignocaine and Norlignocaine.
The charges will be heard by the Victoria Racing Tribunal on a date to be fixed.
